2014 Masters Live TV, Online Coverage, Field & Odds

The 2014 Masters will take place starting this Thursday, April 10 and run through Sunday April 13 as the world’s greatest golfers will battle it out in Augusta, Georgia. With all the hype that comes with the Masters tournament, this year it may be dampened a bit with the absence of fan favorite Tiger Woods. Woods will be sitting out the 2014 Masters Tournament due to back surgery he had back on March 31. This will be the first time in 20 year’s that Woods won’t tee it up at the Masters.

Nevertheless, this is one of golfs biggest events and the show will go on.

Last year’s champion, Adam Scott will look to do something that is very difficult at Augusta – repeat as The Masters Champion. Not since Tiger Woods pulled it off back in 2001 and 2002 has a player pulled off back to back titles at the Masters, but Scott is up to the challenge.

Scott will paired up with  Jason Dufner and Matthew Fitzpatrick this Thursday and is scheduled to tee off at 10:41 a.m.EST.

Officially 94 players will be competing for the this year’s shot at the 2014 Green Jacket and all the  accolades that come a long with it. Winning the Masters is like winning the Daytona 500, Indy 500 or MVP in the World Series. It can take a virtual no-named athlete and thrust him into stardom. This year will be no different. If a long shot comes out of no where and grabs the prize, he will be the new player to beat the rest of the 2014 season.

So who will win the 2014 Masters? Las Vegas odds makes have Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson listed as the top three players to get the job done, however the last three year’s it has been a long shot that has taken home the prize.

Fans can catch all the Masters action on TV nationally through ESPN (Thursday & Friday 3 p.m.-7 p.m.) and CBS (Saturday 3:00 p.m -7:00 p.m. & Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. EST) and live online coverage via cbssports.com/video/player/masters-live.
