2014 Stanley Cup Live TV Schedule, Online Coverage & Series Odds

The 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Finals are ready to kick-off this Wednesday night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California when the LA Kings take on the New York Rangers to decide this season’s champion. Not many experts picked these two teams to make it to the Finals, but once again we have a couple of long shots battling it out for a sports championship.

The Kings have had a tough road so far in the postseason as they have had to go the distance in every series they played. LA defeated the Sharks in Round 1, Anaheim in Round 2 and the defending champion Blackhawks in the Western Conference Finals – with every series going 7 games! It will be interesting to see if playing so many postseason games will catch up with the Kings in the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Rangers turned out to be the surprise “Beast of the East” team in 2014. Many experts believed the Boston Bruins would dominate in this year’s playoffs, but the No.1 overall seed and President Trophy winning Bruins were bounced out of this year’s postseason by the Montreal Canadiens. The Kings have been listed as the early favorite to win the 2014 Stanley Cup over the Rangers at -165 with the comeback on New York at +130.

So now the battle of Kings and Rangers is set to take place. New York vs. LA. East Coast vs. West Coast. It doesn’t matter how you phrase it, the series that no one predicted to happen when the NHL playoffs started is now a reality! One thing is for sure, whether it’s Hollywood or Broadway, the stars will show up for the Stanley Cup Finals.

Fans in the US, Canada and all around the globe will be able to catch all of the Stanley Cup action in many different forms. NBC and NBCSN will be sharing the television along with CBC.
