2014 US Open Championship Live TV, Online Coverage, Field & Odds

Get ready golf fans, the US Open Championship is coming! The 2014 US Open Championship will take place Thursday, June 12 and run through Sunday, June 15 from Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. The world’s best golfers will gather to battle it out for one of the toughest and most sought after trophies in golf.   Aside from the Masters, the US Open is one of the top tournaments of the year.

The weather forecast for the US Open Championship is calling for temperatures to reach near 90 degrees this weekend, but it’s the action on the links that fans are hoping will turn out to be even hotter!

The 2013 US Open Champion Justin Rose is one of the top favorites coming into this year’s competition, but capturing back-to-back wins in a major tournament over the last two seasons hasn’t been easy for any player. The proof is in the pudding. The only players to win multiple or back-to back majors of any sort since then were some of today’s best in the game. Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington are the lone four to pull off the feat.

The past eight major tournaments have seen eight different winners emerge. In fact, since Tiger Woods won his last major in 2008, 19 different players have won a title during major tournament play. In other words, these tournaments have been more wide-open than ever, and with fresh faces emerging on the scene every year, you never know who may surprise the golf world with an upset victory.

Las Vegas odds makers and sports books have Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott as the two listed favorites to win this year’s US Open. McIlroy is listed at 10/1 while Scott is 12/1. Rose, last year’s champion is listed at 20-25/1 depending on what sports book you look at.

Below is a glance at the top favorites to win the 2014 US Open championship and the many different ways fans can catch all of the action live on TV and online. ESPN, ESPN2 and NBC will carry the action live nationally while Watch ESPN, ESPN 3 and NBC Sports Extra will carry the action online.
