2014 WWE Battleground Live TV & Online Match Card, Latest Odds

The 2014 WWE Battleground pay-per-view arrives on Sunday, July 20 with fans able to watch matches on live TV and online, depending on their setup. Among the main bouts that many pro wrestling fans will be looking forward to is the Fatal Fourway match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, as well as a Battle Royal to determine the new Intercontinental Champion. A live online pre-show will kick things off featuring two former diva tag team partners now at odds. Here’s more info on the live TV and online Battleground matches, as well as the latest odds for who will leave as winners in the big match.

At 7:30 p.m. EST the live online Battleground pre-show gets going. A free featured match will have sisters Cameron and Naomi going one-on-one. They’ve recently been bickering and shoving each other around, leading to this contest. Will one of the two “Total Divas” cast members end up with a huge win to put her into contention for the Divas Championship?

At 8 p.m. EST, the main WWE Battleground pay-per-view gets going. One of the featured matches on the live televised and online card will feature a Battle Royal to determine the new Intercontinental Champion. Among the favorites to win are Cesaro, Sheamus, Rob Van Dam, Bo Dallas and The Miz. Only one superstar will emerge the winner, with former champion Wade Barrett set to be there to present whoever it is with his belt.

Also on the card, Chris Jericho is back again to fight, and this time he’ll take on the creepy Bray Wyatt. The two have been going back and forth verbally, with a few sneak attacks coming Jericho’s way. Will “Y2J” have enough to fend off The Wyatt Family on Sunday and get a win? Current odds would have to favor Bray Wyatt as Jericho had been away from WWE for several months and could be rusty in the ring against a wily competitor like Bray!

A Fatal Fourway will feature John Cena defending his WWE World Heavyweight championship against three other men for the main event. Among them will be Kane, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. All three are tough opponents for Cena one-on-one, but having to worry about all three at once will be a whole different story. Cena is currently a 2 to 1 favorite to win the match and keep his title, while Orton comes in second at 12 to 1, followed by Roman Reigns at 20 to 1 and Kane at 32 to 1.

Battleground Fatal Fourway Odds:

John Cena 2/1

Randy Orton 12/1

Roman Reigns 20/1

Kane 32/1

Keep in mind, Cena doesn’t have to be pinned to lose this match and his championship, making it an interesting situation! (Based on a spoiler that’s been released online, it looks like Cena should leave as the champion and headline Summerslam against Brock Lesnar though.
