2015 Blackhawks Parade Live TV, Online Coverage

The Chicago Blackhawks parade live TV and online coverage is scheduled for this Thursday morning and fans are expected to show up by the thousands to get a glimpse of the Stanley Cup and witness a bit of history. Chicago captured the 2015 Stanley Cup championship by taking out the Tampa Bay Lightning in 6 games – capturing their third Cup in the past six seasons.

The Blackhawks have now joined the San Francisco Giants in the latest teams to be termed a “dynasty,” or at least the closest thing to it nowadays. No matter what you call it, Duncan Keith and the Blackhawks are all to happy to let the celebrations begin. Keith was named the Conn Smythe winner of the 2015 playoffs.

Chicago once again captured another title the old-fashion way – great goal-tending, defense and a strong power play. The Blackhawks finished with a league best 189 goals against during the regular season and kept up the tight defense and great goaltending throughout the postseason.  Now fans in the Windy City are wondering if the Blackhawks can repeat next season! Back-to-back titles are great, but right now these players are ready to bask in this championship.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT and culminate with a rally at Soldier Field sometime around 11 a.m. Blackhawks and NHL fans across the US will be able to catch the parade live on TV thanks to WGN-Chicago. If you are stuck in work or just on the go you can still catch the action on your mobile device, tablet or PC by tuning into WGNTV.com starting as early as 9 a.m. for pre-parade coverage.

For all the rest of the hockey fans don’t despair, in less than 90 days training camps and preseason hockey will be back!
