2014 LA Kings Stanley Cup Parade Live TV, Online Coverage

The LA Kings are the 2014 Stanley Cup champions and Monday they will get a shot at celebrating their second title in the last three years with all of their fans! The Kings will have a ticker-tape parade thrown in their honor that will surely be the talk of the town, at least for hockey fans. LA is and has always been known for Hollywood and the film industry, and of course the LA Lakers. However what the Kings have pulled off really needs to be recognized.

In a city that hardly ever gets snow, LA has now won the Stanley Cup 2 of the last 3 seasons and should be one of the favorites to do so again next season. Years ago when teams had a game against the Kings they could usually depend on two things – a crowd of maybe 5,000 people and a win. Well not anymore! LA has been one of the top teams in the NHL over the past 5 seasons and now after winning their second Stanley Cup in 3 seasons, they are only one more title away from starting to get words like “dynasty” thrown at them.

The Kings proved in the postseason that they were clearly the best team in California as they defeated both the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks to advance to the Western Conference Finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.

It took all 7 games, but the Kings knocked off the Blackhawks 4 games to 3 as they reached the Stanley Cup for the second time in three seasons.

As much as fans may be hoping for a back-to-back title next season, right now the last thing LA and their fans want to think about is next season. Now it is time to celebrate another Stanley Cup!

If you can’t make the Kings championship parade first hand, don’t worry, FOX Sports West  has you covered. FSW covers the Kings all season long and now they  will provide live TV and online coverage of the parade from start to finish. The parade will start 11 a.m. (2 p.m. ET) and is scheduled to last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour before the team hits the Staples Center.

Congrats to the LA Kings on their incredible run towards the Stanley Cup!
