The 2016 NBA Finals are set! Last year’s made for TV finals will have a sequel as the Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Golden State Warriors once again. This time Cavs fans are hoping for a different result – and with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in the lineup, they may just get their wish! The Finals are scheduled to tip off on Thursday, June 2 and will be aired on ABC nationally. Every game will also be available to stream online through your PC, smart phone or tablet via WatchESPN and ABCGo.com.
The biggest question is simple, it is the answer that is hard. How do the Cavs slow down Golden State?
The answer has to be Kyrie Irving.
Irving, along with Kevin Love were two of the key missing players from last year’s NBA Championship for the Cavaliers. This year Irving is not only healthy, but he is playing the best basketball of his career. While all eyes will be on LeBron James as always, it will be Irving and Love that need to make their presence felt if Cleveland is going to take home the 2016 NBA Championship.
Last year Steph Curry and the Warriors took out the Cavaliers in 6 games. Will this year be any different? Will LeBron James help the city of Cleveland finally win a sports championship?
