The 2015 NBA Finals live TV and online schedule will officially get underway this Thursday, June 4th from Oakland, California when the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors. ABC and the ESPN family of Networks will be front and center for all of the TV and online action.
The Finals are the biggest event every year in the NBA, and this year’s story line will be on for the ages.
On on side you have the 2015 MVP Stephen Curry and the upstart Golden State Warriors who will be playing in their first finals in over 4 decades! Golden State was the best team record wise in the NBA this season and one of the toughest to defeat at home.
On the other side the Cleveland Cavaliers will be trying to win their first ever title – and in story book fashion.
Four year’s ago after LeBron James left for Miami to join Dwayne Wade and the Heat, the Cavaliers and their fans felt jilted. Actually they were more than jilted, they took it personal. Fans took to burning James’ jersey and booing him viciously every time he returned to Quicken Loans Arena.
Fast forward to 2014 and LeBron’s decision to opt out of his last year of his contract with Heat and return to his home town of Cleveland and all seems to be forgiven as the Cavs are four wins away from the NBA title.
Las Vegas odds makers have Golden State listed as the series favorite. Depending at what casino you look at, the odds are anywhere from -250 to -300 on the Warriors. When it comes to who covers the odds this post season, here is the break down.
The Cleveland Cavs are 5-2 vs. the spread on the road and 8-5-1 overall this postseason. Golden State may be tough as nails at home, however they are only 3-5 at home vs. the spread, and 7-8 overall this postseason.
