New Year’s Eve Live TV, Online Coverage of Ball Drop 2016, Bowl Games & more

The New Year’s Eve live TV and online specials arrive on December 31st as once again Times Square will be under the spotlight ahead of the ball drop for 2015. Here at Sports Odds Daily, we enjoy all things sports related, however we feel a link to all of the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day specials, especially because of all of the college football bowl games!

This year NYE kicks off with the Peach Bowl, followed by 2 college playoff games. Seriously, how can you top that if you are a sports fan?

Oklahoma and Clemson meet-up in the Orange Bowl at 4 p.m. ET, followed by Michigan State taking on Alabama in the Cotton Bowl. The winners of these two games will meet up to determine this year’s NCAA champion.

After all the sports action, how can you not turn to the classic “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve?” This annual tradition is a personal favorite of ours, however if you don’t care for Times Square or just want a different perspective of the ball drop NBC, CNN and FOX also have New Year’s Eve special presentations.

NBC will air “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly,” featuring Voice Coach Gwen Stefani, starting at 10 p.m. ET. CNN returns the duo of Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin and FOX will ring in the New Year with  “Pitbull’s New Year’s Eve Revolution.” So if you are looking to watch some televised entertainment tonight, you have plenty to choose from!

Peach Bowl: Houston vs. Florida State (-7, Over/Under 55) – Noon ET — ESPN

Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. Oklahoma (-4, Over/Under 63) – 4 p.m. ET — ESPN

Cotton Bowl: Michigan State vs Alabama (-10, Over/Under 46) – 8 p.m. ET – ESPN
