NHL Playoffs Live TV, Online Schedule, 2016 Stanley Cup Odds

The NHL playoff live TV schedule and live online coverage will get underway on Wednesday, April 13 as 8 teams from each conference get ready to battle it out for the 2016 Stanley Cup. Fans will have many ways to watch all of the action live as NBC, CBS, NBC Sports Network and the NHL Network will all be airing various NHL playoff games televised live nationally and live online. No matter what team you are rooting for, or where you live, TV and online coverage will cover every goal throughout the NHL postseason!

The first round action has some great match-ups, including a rematch from last season between Tampa Bay and Detroit. The Wings are a different team from last year, with a new coach, while the Lightning are a big beat up. Vegas experts favor Tampa Bay, however it will be in walk in the park against Detroit, who have now made the postseason for a record 25 straight years.

Heading into the postseason, the Washington Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks are the favorites to be the last teams standing, while the Detroit Red Wings are the longest long-shot on the Vegas odds board at 40/1. Interestingly enough, not one team from Canada made the 2016 postseason – that has never happened before under the new NHL format that took place in the 1970’s!

Below is a glance at the Stanley Cup odds and the entire first round schedule, along with all of the TV start times. Let the games begin!
