Preakness Live TV, Online Preview Coverage, Odds & Post Time

The live TV coverage for the 2015 Preakness is scheduled for this Saturday, May 16 as racing fans from coast to coast will be waiting to see if American Pharoah can continue his run towards history. After running away with the Kentucky Derby, Pharoah will now try to win the Preakness Stakes and eye a possible Triple Crown bid this June at the Belmont Stakes. However first things first – win the Preakness!

Like all Grade 1 stake races, the competition will be tough for American Pharoah.  Two horses that can give the Derby winner all he can handle could be Dortmund and Firing Line.

According to horse racing odds makers, Firing Line (5-1) and Dortmund (7-2) have the best chance of foiling American Pharoah’s shot at a possible Triple Crown attempt. Firing Line finished second to American Pharoah in the Kentucky Derby just two weeks ago and now Gary Stevens is hoping that the run for the “Black Eyed Susans” turns out to be a bit better than the “Run for the Roses” did!

Meanwhile Dortman, who is trained by Bob Baffert, would like nothing else better that to take down American Pharoah – who is also trained by Baffert. There are many plots going on here at the Preakness!

All of the action can be seen through the NBC family of networks. Television wise, NBC will carry the race nationally and for all you on the go people who may not be in front on the TV at post time, you can see all the action live online through your PC, tablet or other devices by going to the NBC Sports Extra live website.
