Stanley Cup Live TV, Online Coverage Preview & Odds for Blackhawks vs. Lightning

The 2015 Stanley Cup live TV and online schedule will officially get underway this Wednesday, June 3 from Tampa, Florida when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Tampa Bay Lightning to determine this season’s champion. CBC, NBC, NBCSN and NBC Sports Extra will have all the action from the opening face-off until the Stanley Cup is hoisted in the air!

The Blackhawks will be trying to win their second Cup in three years – and third overall in the past six seasons. Tampa Bay on the other hand will be trying to win their second Stanley Cup in team history. The first and only championship for the Lightning came in back in 2004 when head coach John Tortorella led Tampa Bay over the Calgary Flames in seven games.

Tampa Bay has the talent to capture the Cup this season, however it will be tough against the speedy Blackhawks. Both of these team are built on speed and grit and are led by two of the best in the business in All-Stars Tyler Johnson (Tampa Bay) and Patrick Kane (Blackhawks).

Johnson has been on fire in this year’s playoffs, leading all players in points, while Kane is once again showing he is one of the best in the game today with his excellent leadership and two-way play. The Lightning finished second overall in the Eastern Conference standings and had the best record at home during the regular season at 32-8-1, while the Blackhawks entered the postseason as the number three seed out of the West.

Las Vegas oddsmakers have this series pretty much set at even when it comes to series odds. The Blackhawks are listed at -125 with the comeback on Tampa Bay set at +105.
