Wagering on WWE? You betcha! The live TV and online coverage for WrestleMania 33 is this Sunday, April 2 and WWE fans are chomping at the bit waiting for all of the hard hitting action to go down. For WWE followers, it just doesn’t get any better than WrestleMania. It seems hard to believe that this is the 33rd installment of WrestleMania, but what seemed to many like a gimmick a few decades ago has grown into one of the most popular sports on the planet.
So do people really wager on these WWE matches, or is it all for hype?
While many folks will tell you that the matches are set up in wrestling, and they already know who is going to win, you wouldn’t know that by the way patrons are wagering on these matches. If the winners are planned in advance, it sure isn’t stopping many online sportsbooks from taking wagers on them. In fact Paddy Power, 5 Dimes and William Hill all have several prop wagers available for WWE’s WresleMania 33.
Some of the more popular props for WrestleMania include Bray Wyatt taking on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho squaring off against Kevin Owens and a tag team match for the ages featuring John Cena & Nikki Bella going up against The Miz & Maryse.
WWE’s premier event of 2017 will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday night with a kickoff show starting two hours earlier at 5 p.m. ET. All of the action can be seen on the WWE Network. If you don’t have the WWE Network you can contact your cable provider to order the event anytime before it begins!
